Clonazepam may cause the opposite, inducing or worsening sleep apnea, definitely not an option for treatment of sleep apnea.

Use of clonazepam in presence of sleep apnea is a dangerous and harmful idea. The end result could be persistent apnea and hypoxia at best, but death is also a risk. Do NOT consider this approach.
