Condition->symptom: An arrhythmia (or dysrrhythmia) is a heart rhythm that is not normal and may be due to heart disease. Palpitations is a non-specific term that is used to indicate that an individual senses that there is something unusual in the way his or her heart is beating. Just becoming aware of your heart beat can lead to a sensation of palpitations with no true underlying disease.
