My heart pounds very hard. it feels like punches to my chest. that's how much it is uncomfortable. since last night. even though my heart rate is in the 80's. are they bad palpitations. arrhythmia. should i be concerned?

Yes: You may not be able to accurately determine your heart rate without a monitor in this situation. Assuming you don't have one, with your history you need to be seen and have an EKG and rhythm strip done.
