They are the same thing. Often the stop or dropped beat is followed by a more forcefull heart beat because the heart has more time to ill. The dropped beat is an arrythmia (the beat is not regular) and the forceful beat is the palpatation (what one feels). These are very common in most parts of the world. Check with a Dr in South Africa to see what is most common in folks like you.
