Evaluation: If pain excessive it would be prudent for your child's dentist/pedodohtist to take a look. Give children's motrin/advil (follow pkg directions exactly), dab orabase-b onto sore spot w q-tip.

May be normal: Some discomfort from teething is normal. That is why it is called "teething pains". In addition to what you are already doing rinsing with warm salt water after meals may help as well by flushing away any irritating food particles. If her pain seems unusually severe please have her evaluated by a pediatric dentist to make sure nothing unusual is going on.
