What is a red mark that looks like blood pooled under the skin, roughly nickel sized above my knee on my thigh? it stays for months then disappears.

Could be blood: Need to get your blood levels check for bleeding problems like petechia or purpura. But may also be a sign of a skin mass or infections. Really hard to tell but i would go to dr. The next time one presents and maybe take pics to show progression.
