Best to See a Doctor: This could just be a flare up of your varicose veins, it could be a superficial blood clot in the leg. U said U have leg swelling, it matters if it is a lot or a little. Do U have any risk factors for blood clots? Smoking, Birth control pills & inactivity all are risk factors 4 blood clots in the leg. Some clots are a nuisance, & some a serious problems. If you fee a lump it is probably not deep
