Tough one!: How long have you had this feeling? Do you have any back problems? Have you injured the area? Do you have diabetes or other medical problems? Also, early symptoms of shingles (herpes zoster) can cause a feeling of hypersenistivity before the rash breaks out. If your problem continues, see a doc.

Watch for blisters: Could be very early shingles. Watch for blistering rash and see a provider within 48 hours for antiviral pills if you see redness. Otherwise, try 1% hydrocortisone cream twice a day for a week and if no better, see a doctor.
