A member asked:

What is more urgent to repair: a severely leaking tricuspid valve (in a congestive heart) or a decortification of a right lung partially collapsed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: That really depends on the variables - impossible to make a global statement. It would be really nice if some talented surgeon could do both at the same operation. Never have seen it, but it's worth investigating. Don't be put off if the first surgeon you ask says, no. It would be an unusual request.
