Inguinal hernia: Is a condition when part of the intestine protrudes through a weak point in the abdominal muscles. Hernia is not painful. It doesn't go away on its own and needs to be repaired surgically. Untreated it can lead to life-threatening complications. Rec.: see your doctor for consultation.
