I have a bump right behind my ear that looks swollen & it hurts when i lay down or touch my ear. its not a cyst as ive tried popping it . what could this be & what should i do ?

Painful swelling behind your ear could be a lymphnode, the mastoid indicating inflammation, may also be others. It is likely you have associated upper respiratory tract or ear infection. If you have pets like cats you may want to get evaluated for infection that may have been transmitted from them. It is difficult to say without evaluation but if it persists get a clinician to take a look for you.
