I would not stop: Without medical supervision. It may be keeping you healthy and stopping might result in return of schizophrenic symptoms.

Too risky: Antipsychotic medication such as Risperdal will treat schizophrenia but not cure it. If it is stopped there is an increased risk the condition will recur.

If symptoms return, you may need to go back up on dose. Work closely with your doc and other mental health professional you may be seeing.
