MARKEDLY IMPROVED: Treatment has grown by leaps and bounds. When i was a resident (yes, a long, long time ago in a galaxy fa, farr away...) the treatments did not address negative symptoms and were fraught with horrible side effects. I pitied people with schizoprhenia then. Now medications are more tolerable (from side effect stance) & can significantly improve + & - symptoms. Treatments have markedly improved!
