Lymphadenopathy: Ultrasound is far from the best way in which to assess the presence and nature of cervical adenopathy. The decision as to whether or not to biopsy must be made by an experienced clinician after considering your entire medical situation, including physical and lab findings. Further imaging studies also may in order. See a family practitioner or general internist and be assessed fully.
