Fetal hb: If you don't have elevation of fetal hb prior to giving birth- then yes, most likely that is from the baby's blood. And it is okay. However there is a condition that is called persistent fetal hemoglobin , or other condition like sickle cell anemia that can cause some elevation of fetal hb.
