Meds and potassium: The best person to ask your question to is your physician (p). You have CHF and diabetes and only take spironolactone (s). Your tolerance for potassium (k) is dependent on your kidney function. If you have chronic kidney disease higher than stage 3, you may run into problems with k. Unless you have low k, there is no need for you to take k tablets when taking s. Speak to your p for more answers.
