About 3-4 weeks: After the wisdom teeth surgery complete recovery period is aprosimately 3-4 weeks. Your orthodontist will ask you to open wide... You get my point. Good luck.

A week is fine: You should be mostly healed and the ortho consult is a painless exercise-- at the consult they primarily just want to look at your teeth and your bite.

Just a few days..: Until you feel like opening your mouth abd moving your jaw so the orthodontist can examine you.

1-2 weeks: No two people heal at the same rate. It's a question of comfort, because the orthodontist will ask you to both open and close. One to two weeks should do it.

Give it a week: Within a week of having your wisdom teeth removed you should be comfortable enough to have an orthodontic exam. You could go sooner is you don't have any swelling or discomfort.
