Could the radiologist and doctor missed the pars fracture on the mri? it's been 6 months, was unilateral now hurts on both sides. he was a spine doc.

Pars fractures: May not be visible on MRI as it is much less sensitive for abnormalities of the hard outer part of bone (cortex) than xrays/ct. Sometimes these defects are only suggested if there is subluxation of vertebrae or marrow edema around the fracture.
