Colitis: An inflammatory condition of the large bowel, rectum and anus must be evaluated to see if it is due to infection or non-infectious causes, and this will generally require full history, exam, possibly colonoscopy and an exam of your stools for cells, culture and ova and parasites at a minimum. This cannot be done on the internet. See a GI doctor.
