Hypoglycemia is when: Your blood glucose is too low. Your body needs glucose for energy so when you are low it releases adrenaline to help raise your blood glucose. That can cause symptoms like anxiety, palpitations, and sweating. The brain uses glucose as well so if it is low can cause symptoms of forgetfulness, unusual behavior or coma. The cause should be determined asap to prevent death. Treat with frequent food.
