Need skills: You need to develop more "tools for your toolbox" to deal with life stresses / problems / situations. Psychologist or social worker (lcsw/msw) can help with this, and may be able to help reduce stutter as well, depending on its origin. There is no shame in seeking assistance when needed--you aren't supposed to self-treat your appendicitis, you see a surgeon. These issues benefit from psych help.
