Likely benign...: If it hasn't grown over 3 years, it is super unlikely to be a lymphoma. Sometimes lymph nodes never quite go back down to their original size after an infection. If node began to grow, new nodes appeared, new unexplained fevers, or new easy bruising occurred, these would be more concerning symptoms and would warrant further investigation.

Benign: The clinical behavior is benign (not grown). It is associated with a known reason for an enlarged lymph node (ear infection). The lymph node is not pathologically enlarged. Basically this is normal human biology in action. It was examined by a physician. No need to do expensive testing on a non-issue. If it was lymphoma it would change and prompt evaluation.
