Anxiety patterns: Anxiety commonly results in obsessive thought patterns of worry. There are many possible foci of such thoughts, but physical illness and family members coming to possible harm are frequent ones. These are your brain's attempts to keep you safe, as if your worry will protect from bad things happening. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy can be very helpful with anxiety, and may provide relief.
