A member asked:

How can you confused nearsightedness with double vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not the same!: Nearsightness ( myopia) means you can not see things at distances. Double vision (diplopia) ones sees two images, not just blurry. Diplopia can be monocular or binocular. If double vision goes away with closing one eye you need an eye exam urgently.
