What could cause sharp pain the the bottom left of the throat lasting 5 seconds after drinking cold drinks? i have had it for the past month.

Needs Evaluation: You need to see a ENT (ear nose throat) doctor. They will probably look down your throat for starters. They now have tiny scopes like spaghetti that can get a good look at what is going on. You might also need an upper GI x-ray to look at your swallowing mechanism and check for things like a hiatal hernia
