Yes: With proper diet and exercise one definitely can lose body fat and avoid starvation mode. Starvation mode would actually prevent you from effective weight loss.

Agree. If diet is not done properly and not combined with exercise, the first thing body looses is the muscle mass. It is very important tofollow a healthy weight loss program.
