Influenza: Like night v day. Meningitis produces headache, stiff neck, nausea, vomiting, alteration in consciousness and cognition along with possible neuropathy, and if bacterial and untreated can be fatal. Influenza is a viral illness that affects multiple organs but is seldom fatal by itself (except for primary flu pneumonia). It can alter immune function and make one open to secondary infections.

Tested positive for Flu B 2 weeks ago, but still have low grade fevers everyday of 99.7. Went back to the Dr & had bloodwork done to see if something else was going on & everything came back fine. Why am I still having low grade fevers everyday?
