Life: Society is different. Most women aren't 'happy homemakers' like in the 1950s, so they work, so we all eat out too often and too large of portions (which have also grown since 1950s). 1/3 of us is overweight or more so. Only way to lose weight is to reduce portions / calories and increase activity, sorry.
