Severe exhaust.,pit. edema lower 1/2body, swollen abdomen,rapid weight gain(10+lbs in 24 hrs),low protein in blood,high prot. in urine, renal us clear, cholesterol v high for unknown, nutrients normal but calcium and vit d low -is kidney failure out?

This sounds like you may have congestive heart failure. You may need a diuretic, like furosemide (Lasix). You may need a cardiologist to get this diagnosed and treated. If it is not congestive heart failure, you may be having a kidney issue that also may need a diuretic to treat. Your primary care doctor should be able to tell you which one it is-heart failure versus kidney issue. Good luck1
