Yes, but....: There is still an increased risk of GI problems with a history of gerd but the concurrent use of Omeprazole reduces the risk. Stop the Naproxen at the first sign of GI problems. Also, consider an nsaids such as Meloxicam which has less GI risk than naproxen.
