had ultrasound and was told that egg was already released from one ovary and there is a big follicle seen in other ovary , what does that mean?

What is says: The only way to interpret this is literal. It sounds like the doctor detected that you ovulated and that there is a small follicle on the other. Further details would requre reviewing the actual sonogram. The best person to ask is the doctor who ordered the test.
