Nocturnal enuresis: Bedwetting (aka nocturnal enuresis) very common in children between ages 5 (15%) to 10 (5%). No single cause. Commonly inherited. Other causes: small capacity bladder, delayed maturation of bladder, deep sleeper, low ADH (vasopressin) hormone, constipation, stress, uti. Treatment: being supportive and patient most important. Medications only if persistent and bothersome. Evaluation if daytime symptoms.
