A member asked:

My four year old daughter has one working kidney and has started peeing green. should i be worried?

Probably not: Lots of things can alter the color of one's urine. Regardless, it should not hurt when she urinates and she should not have any symptoms of urgency. It may be best to discuss this with your pediatrician. He/She may have some more reassuring things to say. At the very least, they may want to get urine for analysis and even culture.
