Maybe: You did not say what type of IUD you are using. If it's the Paragard (copper) IUD then that's not normal. If it's a Levonorgestrel (Progesterone) releasing IUD (eg Mirena, Kyleena, etc) then that may be normal. You should do a pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy. Many women using the progesterone IUD will eventually not have a period, which is normal.
