Funny question : Maybe just by observing your behavior or if you smell like it or that you have very red eyes. Maybe by the condition of your oral health but never for sure. They need to have a blood test to know for sure.

Lots of ways...: There are a lot of signs ; symptoms associated with marijuana use. It's legal here in washington, but even if you are in a different state, you should tell your dentist. The dentist is not your enemy. There are some serious dental problems that can be associated with marijauna use and proper treatment by a good dentist can help you minimize these :).
