When is it safe to smoke marijuana and drink alcohol again after getting my tonsils out? i have finished all of my medication already. do not tell me "never drink or smoke"; i'm not interested in quitting. please just tell me how long i should wait?

No need to wait: Obviously you should ask the doctor who did the tonsillectomy, or her office. Most likely they'll say there's no need to wait more than a couple of days after surgery. Swallowing alcohol might continue to be painful for a week or two, but probably it won't be harmful (assuming you're not getting seriously drunk).
