I have sharp pain in top edge of my tongue and its a litte sore and bumpey, what is it?

Vague: Tongue pain can be caused by a multitude of triggers- meds, supplements, trauma (biting it, rubbing it against front teeth, vitamin B12 deficiency, taste bud inflammation... (could be geographic tongue with inflammation. If this continues, i would see a dentist.
