Below 36.3 oral: The temperature at different parts of the body vary. The core temperature which is closest to that taken rectally is usually higher. The temperature taken in a clinic is usually oral temperature. By averaging people's temperature, it was determined that the normal temp is 36.8 plus or minus 0.5 so it would have a range of 36.3 to 37.3.
