Changes of puberty: Puberty or sexual maturation is a period of many changes for both males and females. Hormonal changes cause changes within the sexual organs - ovaries, testicles, penis - and secondary changes such as pubic hair and axillary hair growth. Mood changes may be associated as well. Many adolescents develop acne as well.
