Qualifications: Podiatrists are trained to perform surgery of the foot and ankle. But, some may elect not to do surgery, some may perform only foot surgery, and others may do foot and ankle surgery. When making an appointment, ask the staff, or visit the doctor's website, if available. Regards, Dr. Latva
