Yes, in some..: ..Situations. Leukemias (blood cancer) often present with abnormal blood counts. Other cancers may show elevations of liver or bone enzymes, high calcium, low sodium or others. There are so called tumor markers which can also go up in cancer patients. Please realize that none of the above is an absolute guarantee of having cancer and that many cancer patients have absolutely normal bloodwork.
