A member asked:

My lymphocyte abs count in november was flagged high at 4. now it is flagged high at 3.7 still. all other bloodwork is completely normal besides lymphocyte count. do i have cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on details: Blood counts are done for a reason. Sometimes there are ill symptoms, other times the test is routine screening for a check-up. Without the reason for the test, lab results may or may not have much meaning. In this case, the results don't have much meaning without a doctor knowing the whole story about the patient.
