YES!: See stroke association.Org and look at stroke treatments. Intravenous tpa (alteplase) good 3-4.5 hours. Intra arterial tpa (alteplase) good up to 6 hours in front of brain and 24 hours in posterior brain. Can use mechanical devices to remove clot up to 8 hrs in front and 24 hours in posterior brain.
