Could it be harmful to take 2 unisom pills?

Why do it?: The dose of unisom is 1 pill 30 minutes before bed. Why do you want to double it? You'd be more likely to have dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention, etc (all side effects of the medication) if taking more than the usual dose. If this over-the-counter med is not helping you, you need to have your sleep issue evaluated. Best wishes.
