A member asked:

Please advise what is the difference and, if any, similarities between hyaluronic acid and collagen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Big difference: Collagen is a protein fiber in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a carbohydrate, a thick liquid that surrounds collagen. Both are essential to normal skin.
