Many varieties!: In general, breast augmentation is performed using implants. There are some that are performing augmentation with fat grafting, which involves liposuction from one area of your body and injecting the fat into the breasts. For implant augmentation, there are saline (salt water) and silicone implants. Saline are less expensive but most agree that silicone have a more natural feel.

Usually the same: Breast augmentation is the technical name for enlarging or size alteration of the breast. Utilizing an implant to accomplish that goal is the most common way to augment the breast. Some doctors also utilize fat transfers or mechanical devices to augment the breast size, but those are not very common at this time. Breast implants account for more than 95% of all augmentation, about 300, 000 a yr.
