Depends on what: Milk can be malabsorbed if there is a lactose intolerance from insuffucient lactase to digest it (common). Gluten, if there is a gluten intolerance. Vitamin B12 if there are disorders like pernicious anemia, atrophic gastritis. Various products may not be absorbed properly after gastric bypass surgery, recurrent pancreatitis, bowel resection, some parasite infestation. The message: check it out.
