Very broad: Ryan, I perform emergency surgery routinely for patients, and the recovery time varies GREATLY from one patient to the next. It depends upon the procedure you had, your age, and other conditions. It often takes at least 4 weeks for soreness, etc., to go away even if you have no postoperative issues--but, again, it can vary greatly. Make sure to see your surgeon post op.
