Infection: Depending on how bad it is it may have to be drained the first step is to soak your foot in warm water and epson salts if that fails make an apt with podiatrist to drain the infection and prescribe antibiotics.

NAIL REMOVAL?: Under the nail? The whole nail, or the side, or sides? Is is red, swollen, painful, with drainage? Frequently, the nail, or infected side, has to be removed by a podiatrist in the office with a local anesthetic. In mild cases, Epsom salt soaks and antibiotic pills may help.
