Yes: It actually does reduce sensitivity. You can also try a mixture of equal amounts of calcium alfalfa and horsetail mix this into a paste and massage of brush the seneitive areas.

Yes!: It can work, but more important is to make sure you are not causing the sensitivity by brushing too hard causing 'wearing away' of the gums (most common cause of sensitive teeth).
